Siren To Wail PSA (Video)On 11/14/06 Timothea lost her battle with Hepatitis - C. A memorial service is being planned. Information is available at her website www.timothea.com

Siren to Wail provides peer counseling and deploys educational material to those newly diagnosed and/or living with Hepatitis C. STW offers social services for those seeking help filling out medical forms, applying for financial aid and in need of clinical placement. We provide support groups, free/low cost testing, client counseling and referrals to doctors at no cost to our clients. In addition Siren To Wail produces public service announcements "PSAs" for radio and television
One of our goals is to open a Hepatitis C clinic where fellow Hepatitis patients can get all of their needs met in one place in an expedient way.

Due to Timothea's failing health she is unable to continue to provide the time and energy required to maintain her involvement with Siren To Wail and will be unable to put on the annual Hep-C Benefit. Hopefully she will recover sufficiently in the near future to continue her work with the organization. Our prayers and sympathy go out to her and we wish her a speedy recovery. If you are interested in donating time or financial assistance please contact STW byphone or email

In addition due to the hurricane Katrina disaster and ensuing flood Timothea has been forced to relocate away from New Orleans having lost all of her personal possesions and her home. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Please contact her by email

If you would like to donate time, materials or money towards these efforts, please contact Siren To Wail by phone locally at (504) 943-6464 or by e-mail at info@sirentowail.org
